Scrophulariaceae

Triphysaria eriantha ssp. eriantha

"Straight fruit"

"Woolly-flowered"

This plant is also called butter-and-eggs for the color of the blossoms. It is often found growing with goldfields, Lasthenia californica. The 1/4"-wide flowers are on a 2-4" stalk.

Many of these flowers are found along the road to Manzanita Point and along the trail to China Hole on the hillside just above the river.
