This uncommon plant is a pleasant surprise to encounter. The brilliant red flowers are as pretty as any you might grow in your garden. The many 1/2"-wide flowers bloom on a 4-6" stalk.
Many of these plants grow along the East Fork narrows east of China Hole and in the Little Fork Canyon.
