This is the largest Blue Oak I have ever seen. It grows on a large open meadow on the top of Pine Ridge, just North of Eric's bench. I once measured the distance around the tips of the branches and it is over 250 feet. The trunk is over 4 feet in diameter before it starts to branch. I've admired this tree for 30 years in sun, wind, rain, snow and even once a blizzard.  (Large Image)
